The Event

Especially Everyone is bringing The Capitol Theatre its first fully inclusive concert on December 27th, 2025 in celebration of neurodiversity. With world-class special guest artists joining the EE Ensemble from this iconic stage, every detail is designed to welcome and honor all participants.

The Vision

We're demonstrating what's possible when we intentionally design social spaces to be inclusive from the start, ensuring people are not left on the sidelines as an afterthought. By creating experiences where all people can participate authentically in social opportunity and connection through music, we're addressing the isolation that affects both the disability community and society at large.

The Movement

This event breaks the service silo by creating space where people connect across the broader community, not just within disability-specific settings. In an era where loneliness affects people across all demographics, music becomes the bridge for authentic human connection. Success at Capitol Theatre builds the foundation for future inclusive concerts, demonstrating that intentionally inclusive spaces create the connected communities we all need.

What Makes This Event Truly Inclusive

The 10-piece Especially Everyone Ensemble, a collective of musicians who model inclusion by bringing together performers with diverse strengths, styles, and abilities, will be joined by special guest artists for a high-energy performance that dissolves the barriers between stage and audience. Through original compositions and reimagined covers, the Experience invites every guest to participate in their own way: dance, sing, play, or simply soak in the sound.

To ensure everyone feels comfortable and engaged, the event features:

Listening Lounge offering sensory modifications such as noise-cancelling and silent disco headphones, bass pack vibrating vests, and other tools to enhance your musical experience
Sensory-Break Area away from the crowd and the music, for quiet time and recharging
Sound Stations with interactive instruments that invite hands-on, collaborative music-making for people of all abilities (provided by Hop!)
Trained staff and volunteers available to assist with any needs
New wheelchair access to the main floor! To create a fully inclusive environment, we have collaborated with The Capitol Theatre to allow wheelchair access to the general floor area for the first time! We'll also have a designated section near the stage to ensure clear visibility for wheelchair users and those who need to remain seated.

Building a Movement, Not Just an Event

The Especially Everyone Experience is part of a growing movement to expand awareness, opportunity, and celebration for the neurodiverse community. Each event serves as a platform for collective impact, elevating the work of mission-aligned and mission-adjacent partners across the region. A Community Circle of 15–20 local organizations will be featured, honoring their efforts in accessibility, inclusion, and human connection, and sharing the resources they offer to the community.

This event is the first step. Success at Capitol Theatre builds the foundation for future Experiences to advance our collective movement, demonstrating our model's replicability at another prestigious venue and strengthening our regional movement.
