Ricky has always been someone who pushes limits—whether in his training, career, or life. As he approaches his 30th birthday, he reflects on how far he’s come and what truly matters. Instead of a typical celebration, Ricky decides to turn this milestone into something meaningful, something that will leave a lasting impact.

The Lighthouse Project was born from this idea: a 50-mile run across the island, from Makapu’u Lighthouse to Barber’s Point Lighthouse, symbolizing the light we carry within and the power of resilience in life’s darkest moments. Ricky wants to use this run to shine a light on Fightstory, an organization that helps combat athletes navigate their mental and physical wellness journeys.

At Fightstory, we are honored to have Ricky selflessly using his milestone to further our mission. This run, taking place on Sunday, March 30th aims to highlight the challenges fighters face from diverse backgrounds, the obstacles they need to overcome, and to raise $10,000 to provide them with the necessary resources.
