What's a "Buddy Bench"?

It's a special bench placed on a school playground or other place in the community, where a child can sit if they're feeling lonely or if they don't have someone to play with. It's a signal to others that they could use a friend. It helps promote kindness, empathy, and inclusion. It encourages children to look out for one another and make sure no one feels left out.

How does your Donation help?

Your donation, in any amount, supports The London Project's Buddy Bench campaign to bring more of these benches to local communities. Donors who wish to sponsor an entire bench will have the opportunity to include their business name, or dedicate it in honor or memory of a loved one, on a permanent plaque.
