The R.A.R.E. Foundation: Empowering NYC Students Through Financial Literacy

The Recovery Education Foundation (The R.A.R.E. Foundation), powered by Equifax, proudly leads the “Educate a Student. Protect Yourself” initiative in partnership with the Licended Department of Education Vendor Kredit Koncepts Financial Service. Our mission is to empower New York City high school students with the financial education and identity protection tools they need to secure their futures. By addressing critical gaps in financial literacy, The R.A.R.E. Foundation is committed to making a lasting impact on students and their communities.

The R.A.R.E. Foundation’s Commitment to Financial Education for NYC Students

Our goal is to sponsor up to 250,000 students through this initiative. With a minimum donation of $25, both the donor (Protect Yourself) and the student (Educate a Student) will receive a comprehensive financial literacy package that includes:

One year of Equifax Complete Premier, offering comprehensive credit monitoring and identity theft protection valued at $239.
"The Power of Credit" e-book, teaching students the fundamentals of building a strong financial foundation valued at $9.95
"Who Stole My Identity?" e-book, written by 17-year-old financial literacy advocate Preston "Kid Kredit" Luzunaris, which educates students on how to protect themselves from identity theft valued at $9.95
A 12-course Digital Financial Literacy Curriculum designed to equip students with critical financial skills valued at $99.95
A FREE Credit Consultation, available remotely or at the Credit Education Center in the Bronx, New York.
