When Maria joined our Career Development Cohort, she was at one of the lowest points in her life.

A single mother, recently unemployed, her car had just been repossessed. With no transportation, no childcare, and no clear path forward, she showed up anyway — baby in her arms, fear in her eyes, and a quiet hope that Women on the Rise International, Inc. could offer her a second chance.

Through our program, Maria received more than just support — she received community.
We provided her with a laptop, reliable child care, transportation assistance, a hot meal every session, and access to a mentor who stood by her side for an entire year. Over 10 weeks, Maria not only rediscovered her confidence — she landed a new job, opened a savings account, and became a role model her child could look up to.

The Reality: We Need Your Help to Do More

Maria’s success is beautiful — but it's also far too rare.

Every day, we hear from more women like her.
They’re strong. Determined. Brilliant. But they are being held back by the realities of poverty, lack of access, and the loneliness of trying to rebuild without a village.

And right now, we can’t say “yes” to them all.

It costs $2,500 to support one woman through our 10-week cohort and one full year of mentorship.
We are currently facing a $50,000 funding gap — a gap that prevents us from providing these life-changing services to 20 more women this year.
