Our founder, Tammy Floyd- Westmoreland’s journey in this non-profit has come from personal experience. After the loss of her son D’Jonte in 2011, Tammy was lost, wondering what she would do without her first born. After giving birth to her daughter 11 months after the passing of her son, her purpose became to shine through. She started to realize that there was life after death. Several years later she learned that her purpose in life was to be the voice that her son never had. She had experienced a lot of loneliness and lack of support and knew that she could not have been alone. After helping several families through her cosmetics line Qute, she knew that there was still so much more for her to do. In 2018 she launched Their Voice of Greater Cincinnati. Since then, the organization has helped over 50 families and counting across the globe with diapers, baby wipes, vans, covered medical expenses, provided over 1500 hours of respite care and growing, hosted events to raise awareness and connect families who typically fall into isolation through our virtual support group. As Their Voice of Greater Cincinnati grows, we need your help to be able to continually provide support to our families. $200.00 can allow just one family to receive 10 hours of respite care. $2000.00 can help services 10 families a week for 10 hours each. Our goal is to help 15-20 families by May of 2023. We have served 8 families to date and have provided over 2000 hours of respite.
