The Thomas & Woods Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.

Our mission is to engage and empower underserved youth in Philadelphia communities to be tomorrow’s leaders through experiential learning, mentorship, and athletic activities.

Each year TWF runs several programs that offer free opportunities to youth in some of the city’s most economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. Including a Basketball Camp, and a year-round Basketball Beyond Buckets (BBB) program, which offers a weekly space for vulnerable youth to gather and play basketball with committed mentors and coaches. Finally, we celebrate Martin Luther King Day by holding a Speech Contest for high schoolers, where they win scholarships for authoring and presenting a speech on an issue they care about to a live audience.

Our hope and goal is to grow each of these experiences for we depend on our partners, sponsors and volunteers to fund and execute our programs.
