Instructor: Markis Gallashaw Details: October 9 - November 13 Grad Show November 17th $175 Location: Onward Theatre, Academy Lofts, Suite 200 Course Goals: - Create in an inclusive environment that empowers diverse perspectives and reflects the mission of Onward Theatre - This class would cover introductory improvisational comedy skills: trust, agreement, give and take, and basic scenes with fun guidance. - Students will leave knowing how initiate a scene, the basics of character development, and knowing some basic short form games - All of this through a lens of telling your own story, respecting others identities/space, and having a ton of fun - Strengthen performance skills with a Graduation Showcase *No improv experience required *18+ * Please note Onward Theatre is located in a historic building that requires folks to climb 3 flights of stairs.
