🐾 Help Tommy Get the Training He Needs to Find His Forever Home

Two months ago, Tommy escaped death at East Valley Shelter with dozens of foster and adoption offers, but his journey since then has been anything but easy.

Tommy is irresistibly adorable and cuddly, a total love bug with his people. But Tommy had multiple foster families bail on him, leaving him without the stability he desperately needed. Thankfully, his current foster stepped up and has been willing to give Tommy a chance. They truly want to work with him through his challenges and would love to adopt him, but Tommy needs professional training to help him thrive.

Tommy struggles with dog reactivity/redirection and resource guarding, and these behaviors have made it difficult for him to successfully transition into a forever home. We have found wonderful families who have been interested in adopting Tommy, but we know that the best way to set him and his future family up for success is to get him the proper training first.

We need everyone's help Tommy's training!

We are raising $1,600 to send Tommy to a full 4-week training program at Pawsitive Inn with Jesse, who is an incredible trainer and has worked with us before on other reactive dogs. With the right training, structure, and guidance, Tommy can learn how to manage his behaviors and finally have the tools he needs to thrive.

Our goal is to get Tommy into training ASAP so that he can continue building a relationship with his current foster and hopefully have the opportunity to stay with the person who is already willing to love him and give him a chance.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings him one step closer to becoming the happy, stable dog we know he can be.

Tommy already fought to escape death. Now he deserves the chance to have a real future. ❤️🐾
