Hi! I am Toni, I just finished a cookbook as a result of a fascinating and even unexpected story that involves training a coworker from India how to cook US Southern dishes.

I am a traveling nurse, not a Martha Stewart. I've been prepping patients for surgery and I spent all of my husband's life savings caring for him before he passed a few years ago. I somehow feel that now I have no choice but to serve as a traveling nurse in the hopes of building back my savings. Recently, there was an unexpected 60-day gap in employment contracts and I found myself without work or pay.

That's when I sensed God showed me how he was giving me time to start my long-overdue book. I honestly never expected to work on a cookbook. With my more than fifty years of experience in cooking and when my coworker from India asked for recipes, it dawned on me and it all came together wonderfully... by the grace of God! I already have plans for a second book - which will be photos and stories of porches across America. But, for now, please help me publish and market my first book.
