UPDATE: Large-Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix (LCNEC) spread on (Sept 3rd, 2025)

On September 3rd, 2025, Mrs. Lewis received the unfortunate news that the Large-Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix (LCNEC) has spread to her upper left breast. Since the diagnosis, Mrs. Lewis has undergone a biopsy and surgery to remove the 2 inch mass from her breast. Mrs. Lewis is currently undergoing a series of aggressive chemotherapy sessions.

As anyone whose in remission from cancer, the last news they want to receive is that the cancer has returned. This news was devastating to Mrs. Lewis.

Tonya Lewis' Care Team is asking for your help with financial support to assist with her medical & non-medical expenses once again as she undergoes chemo and medical procedures.

Despite everything Tonya Lewis has shown remarkable courage and resilience. She has been fighting for over 3 years, and the road ahead will be — medically, emotionally, and financially taxing. Mrs. Lewis' related costs, ongoing care, and recovery needs are overwhelming for her at this moment.

Mrs. Tonya Lewis has served the community for over 33 years. Mrs. Lewis is the Founder and President of Children With A Vision Inc. in Tampa, Florida.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Tonya Lewis was diagnosed on October 31, 2023, with a rare AGGRESSIVE cancer called Large-Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix (LCNEC) which has been found in ONLY 70 women around the world. Mrs. Lewis is currently at STAGE 3.8 and will undergo AGGRESSIVE treatment that includes both Chemo and Radiation over the next 6 or 8 weeks, 5 days per week.
