Our first event was in 2002, just a small housewarming holiday party with a tree and a few bags of toys. Our events grew, and we have developed amazing partnerships over the years. In 2026, we celebrate our 25th year anniversary as a 100% volunteer 501c3 organization. We have a LOFTY goal of raising $25,000 through our event. Through the generosity of friends, family, generous corporations, local businesses, and individual sponsors, we have distributed over 80,000 toys and gifts through our beneficiary partners:

Wonderfund of Massachusetts (MA Department of Children and Families)
Casa Iris/Multicultural AIDS Coalition (Jamaica Plain)
IBA (South End)
Eastern Service Workers Association (Dorchester, East Boston, Mattapan)
United South End Settlements (South End)
Urban Farming Institute (Mattapan, Dorchester)
Boston Housing Authority/Joseph Tierney Learning Center (Boston)
St. Ann’s Home and School (Methuen)

After we purchase the toys and gifts for all ages, we receive 2 tractor trailers just before the holidays. Donated trucks from our amazing logistics partners (PEAK Event Services and Big Foot Moving and Storage) become “Santa’s Sleigh’s” delivering them throughout Massachusetts from Cape Cod to Pittsfield.

Our goal in 2026 is to distribute 10,000 toys and gifts!! We need to raise $100,000 to do this! ALL donations, however, will be put to good use! If you want to collect toys and gifts, we will find a home for them! All donations are tax deductible. It costs just $2,500 to sponsor each crate of toys for one of our partner locations. Please consider sponsoring a location on your own or rallying your friends and family to provide toys for kids in your community! Please donate what you are comfortable donating. Every $15-$17 buys an art set. EVERY DOLLAR IS APPRECIATED!

Last year, we partnered with Boston Gay Men’s Chorus! BGMC is again offering Toys for Joys supporters a 10% discount to their Boston performances of Holigays, Where Reverence Meets Rhinestones on December 18th, 19th or 20th at 8PM at NEC’s Jordan Hall. With your donation or with the purchase of an event ticket, you will receive a discount code at checkout that can be used to purchase up to 4 tickets!! Tickets can be purchased HERE, or by calling 617-542-SING.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to learn about us! Our Tax ID: 45-2386384. On behalf of Toys for Joys, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season!
