CYCLE FORWARD: BRIGHT FUTURES is the name of our youth outreach initiative. Donations to Bright Futures help sustain Wheels for Whitehall, The Great Bike Adventure, and our youth bike giveaway programs.

With support from United Way of Central Ohio, Whitehall City Schools, TREK, Goodwill, City of Columbus – Department of Neighborhoods, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Yay Bikes, and more, we plan to distribute 200+ bikes in 2026 to kids facing hardship.

These bikes will support attendance and literacy programs by helping kids get to school. When transportation is not reliable kids often just don't go. Schools will identify students who qualify for this program and use a lottery system to award the bikes.

Our vision is to use the Wheels for Whitehall model to scale across Columbus and Whitehall City Schools ensuring more kids have the tools to succeed in and out of the classroom.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS:

$50 = helmet & lock for 1 child

$150 = parts & repairs for 1 child’s bike

$300 = fully sponsor 1 student (bike, helmet, lock)
