Pass the Baton: Join us in passing the baton to the next generation of TrackGirlz, helping them chase their dreams. With our unique Relay Donation model, individuals or companies can kickstart a fundraiser with a set goal and then "relay" the effort to another person or department until the goal is reached.

All individuals who join our team and create a GiveButter link (email:kelcei@trackgirlz.org for more details) will be entered into our Pass the Baton Sweepstakes!! This includes a grand prize of a signed baton by Olympic Athletes and Coach Mechelle, our founder!!

TRACKGIRLZ MISSION:

TrackGirlz is a nonprofit organization founded by Olympian & Olympic Coach Mechelle Lewis Freeman with a mission to provide girls access to health, academic, and social development resources through track and field programs.

Our programs include:

⭐ DreamBuildHER Empowerment Program where we use proven mental, physical, and social development activities to help middle and high school girls gain essential life skills and develop a roadmap toward their goals.

⭐ Scholarship Program that supports and empowers high school seniors and college students who have previously engaged in TrackGirlz events, Workshopz, Takeovers, and the Ambassador program.

⭐ Track & Field Grants which provide aid for girls and programs in under-resourced communities. These funding opportunities provide them with access to the sport, necessary equipment, and the ability to participate in local track and field programs.

⭐ Sports Performance Workshopz that Workshopz include a dynamic workout session and stimulating classroom elements to promote sisterhood by using physical, mental, and nutritional sports performance tools.

⭐ Speaker Series which encourages student athletes on how to achieve their goals and optimize their mental and physical performance. Led by TrackGirlz founder, USA Track and Field Olympian and Olympic Coach Mechelle Lewis Freeman, and other World-Class mentors.

According to research conducted by the Women’s Sports Foundation, by the age of 14, girls drop out of sports twice as often as boys for factors such as social stigma, lack of access, safety and transportation issues, costs, and lack of positive role models. We aim to bridge this gap with our programs.
