The Valerie Summers Black Trans Justice & Futures Fund was created by AfroResistance to honor the life, vision, and legacy of Valerie Summers by directly supporting Black trans-led organizing, healing, and safety across our communities.

Your donation helps us move resources where they are urgently needed: to Black trans women, girls, and gender-expansive people building power, seeking safety, creating community, and fighting to live with dignity.

This fund supports:

Emergency support for Black trans community members
Healing, wellness, and care-centered programming
Leadership development and political education
Black trans-led organizing and cultural resistance
Rapid response needs in moments of crisis
