Y'all!
I believe in the power of collective action to transform our world, and I know many of you do too. This year, I’m supporting #TranslateTheMovement. The work we do through Resonance Network and with our partners at Jamii is more important than ever as we navigate urgent political times and envision a future where all of us can thrive.
The world we’re building together is one where care, justice, and thriving aren’t just aspirations—they are realities we live and practice every day. And, quite frankly, our thriving is at risk in many ways. This is why I'm passionate about well-resourced networks that create multilingual spaces for healing, creativity, and governance led by us for us all. Translate the Movement embodies this, weaving together stories, language, and resources so we can amplify our power and move in sync towards our vision of liberation and thriving.
WeGovern is about practicing governance at its core—shaping a world that serves our communities rather than controlling them. Mending the Arc is about holding hope, repairing what’s broken, and finding new ways to connect to our creativity to find pathways forward. And as we tell the stories of a future built on thriving, #TranslateTheMovement makes sure that no one is left out of this conversation due to language barriers.
I’m inviting you to be part of this vision—to invest in the powerful work that creates space for all of our voices and stories. If you're able, I’d deeply appreciate any support you can give. Every contribution helps us weave a future that uplifts and holds each of us in love, justice, and community. It supports us to ensure that our diasporic family, friends, neighbors, elders can join in conversations about sharing what we need and resourcing those needs together and creating pathways forward.
Please join me in supporting this critical work. Together, we can keep building momentum toward the world we all deserve.
With so much gratitude and hope,
Alexis
