Meet Trevor, a sweet 3-month-old Bernedoodle puppy who was rescued in a heartbreaking situation. A Good Samaritan at Pet Food Express saw a breeder desperately trying to give him away, saying Trevor was the last of his litter. The man claimed that if no one took him, he would be surrendered to the Martinez Shelter, leaving his fate uncertain. Thankfully, CDR stepped in, took him into our care, and placed him in a loving foster home.

But now, Trevor is fighting for his life.

Shortly after his rescue, Trevor began to crash—hard. He developed:
⚠️ Severe diarrhea and vomiting
⚠️ Extreme lethargy – barely able to lift his head
⚠️ High fever
⚠️ No appetite, refusing food and water

Fearing the worst, we rushed him to the emergency vet, where doctors suspect parvovirus—a deadly but treatable illness that requires immediate intensive care. Trevor must remain hospitalized for at least three nights, undergoing life-saving treatments and additional blood tests. His results take up to 24 hours, and we still don’t have a clear diagnosis, but what we do know is this little fighter needs urgent care to survive.

💔 The estimated cost of Trevor’s treatment is a staggering $15,000.
As a rescue, we simply cannot cover this alone.
