Unearth & Empower Communities (UEC) is a grassroots movement rooted in Compton, California since 2013, dedicated to building with people, eliminating poverty, and leading with justice—one neighborhood at a time.

We create cradle-to-career pathways to college, employment, and entrepreneurship for youth through STEM education, the arts, and community empowerment. Our work is grounded in the belief that every young person—regardless of background—deserves access to transformative learning experiences that build critical skills, cultural pride, and economic opportunity.
