The DMDM (Distributed Medical Device Manufacturing) worker's collective specializes in getting safe, effective tourniquets into crisis zones where they're needed. We're working with our partner Distribute Aid to get our tourniquets to mutual aid groups on the ground in LA.

We're raising $1,050 to send 40 tourniquets which cost $25 each (approximately $10 less than the leading corporate brands) + $50 for shipping.

Our tourniquets are:

Inspected with our 16-step quality control procedure;
Manufactured by our worker's collective in an FDA-registered facility in Tucson, AZ;
Meet or exceed all available regulations, including ANSI/OSHA requirements;
Tracked from the factory to the field using an innovative open source, anonymized data collection method pioneered by our partners at GOSQAS;
Rigorously tested against corporate tourniquets and scientifically proven to be as safe or safer than the leading brands.

We use an open source tourniquet design created by our partners at Glia.
