Uganda Generation Hope’s 5th Annual Back‑to‑School Fundraiser

For the past five years, Uganda Generation Hope has been committed to one simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a hopeful future.

During this time, we’ve walked alongside children from incredibly challenging circumstances, some starting as toddlers, others entering school for the very first time at older ages. Many have progressed through primary education into secondary school, while others have been reunited with their families and continue learning within their communities. At the same time, new children continue to join our program, often beginning their education later due to poverty or interrupted schooling.

Today, we support 22 children (ages 3–16) at various stages of their educational journey.

These varied levels reflect each child’s unique path. Our goal is not just school placement, but ensuring every child can succeed at their own pace with the support they need.

Annual Educational Budget

School Fees: UGX 10,995,000
Educational Requirements: UGX 2,260,000

(Includes uniforms, sportswear, sweaters, exam fees, registration, supplies for new nursery students, and meals until the end of the year.)

Total Goal: UGX 13,255,000 (~$3,800 USD)
