The Marine Corps Ball is our annual tribute to the founding of the Marine Corps on November 10, 1775. Rooted in tradition and dating back to pre-Declaration of Independence times, the Ball honors the enduring legacy of Marines and their unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation. From the birth of the United States to the present day, this celebration acknowledges the countless sacrifices made by Marines. Join us for cocktails, Birthday Cake Cutting ceremony, dinner, and dancing.

Special events like this call for some special tips in order for it to be truly a positive night to remember. If this is your first ball or your 30th, these novice Marine Corps ball etiquette tips continue to apply.

Dress Code: Business, Cocktail, Semi-Formal & Formal are all acceptable.

Uniforms: Refer to your Uniform Standards.

Marine Corps League:

You may wear your Casual Uniform, Dress Uniform or Evening Uniform.

Dress Blues:

The standard uniform for the ball is the Blue Dress uniform with blue trousers, skirt, or slacks.
Evening Dress:

Officers and Staff Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) may wear the Evening Dress uniform.
