Last November, a powerful storm swept through King County. A fallen tree crushed the Library2Go Bookmobile—destroying thousands of books meant for childcare centers, after-school programs, and kids across our region.

For many of the children Library2Go serves, this is their only access to books. It’s where they discover their first favorite story, where early literacy begins, and where a love of reading takes root. In 2024 alone, Library2Go made over 1,000 visits and reached more than 42,000 people, including 19,000 who stepped on board to explore books and experience library service up close.
