Maplewood Ukrainian Day was inspired by our desire to showcase our Ukrainian culture—our delicious food, beautiful music, dance, and world-renowned arts and crafts with the WORLD!

In addition to being an important fundraising and team building event for our parish, it is first and foremost a unique opportunity to enlighten our neighbors and friends about why preservation of the Ukrainian Nation, its people and culture is of paramount importance.

Free admission! A spectacular program of Ukrainian music and dance will begin at 3 pm featuring Ukrainian Dancers from the Barvynok Ensemble from South Bound Brook, NJ; Nadiya School of Ukrainian Dance in Perth Amboy, Trenton and Jersey City; and the Iskra School of Ukrainian Dance in Whippany, NJ, among others.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Holy Ascension in Maplewood, New Jersey is an Orthodox Christian parish under the auspices of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA. Holy Ascension has been serving the needs of the Ukrainian Orthodox faithful of New Jersey for over 106 years, since its inception in 1918.
