Roycemore School was founded in 1915 on the campus of Northwestern University by professors who were looking for an outstanding educational experience for their daughters. Beginning as a small, independent all-girls school, Roycemore eventually became co-educational in the early 1960's.

Roycemore moved to its current campus at 1200 Davis Street in 2012. Throughout its 109 years, Roycemore has evolved in many ways but maintains its mission: Our diverse and intimate community, rooted in academic excellence, inspires each student to discover their passions, think without limits, find their voice, and live courageously.
