New Yorkers for Culture & Arts (NY4CA) serves a coalition of artists, culture workers, and a range of arts organizations from small-budget local entities to large-scale cultural institutions. We work together to strengthen public policy and increase equitable and sustained support for culture.

This is a critical time in the history of our city. Cultural organizations, hard hit during the pandemic, are still recovering. Relief has stopped and the city is facing budget cuts. The work of NY4CA is urgently needed to connect, serve, and sustain our cultural community through these times. And to let our elected leaders know that now is not the time to cut culture.

Our goal is to raise $15k for General Operating Support in 2024. Your donation will allow us to run a sound business infrastructure, pay our workers, and ensure the voices of New York's cultural sector are at the table where decisions about their futures are being made.

$2000 supports our Artist Advocacy Residents for a month as they create and work on new ways to change our world for the better
$500 pays for a month of health care for an NY4CA staff member
$100 funds the advocacy alerts and field-wide news in our weekly e-newsletter
$25 pays for an hour of administrative assistance for the Executive Director and the team
