Bike Walk Golden is working with Simple Cycling Maps to produce the first comprehensive, community-centered cycling map of Golden to help residents and visitors bike (whether by city bike, e-bike, road, mountain, or gravel) safely, confidently, and enjoyably around town. Golden is investing in trails, bike lanes, and safer streets, but many people still don’t know where it’s comfortable (and fun) to ride, how to connect across town, and which routes work best for e-bikes, families, or new riders.

The map will highlight:

Comfortable bike routes around town
Trail and path connections
Links to popular riding areas
Local destinations and landmarks (cafes, restrooms, breweries, trailheads, bike shops)

Formats

Pocket-sized folded map for riders and visitors
Large-format wall poster for shops, schools, and homes
Digital version for phones and online sharing

This map will support:

Everyday biking for errands and commuting
Recreation (Road, Gravel, MTB) and tourism
Local business visibility

Maps will be available and sold through:

Local bike and outdoor shops, cafes, and breweries
Community events
Visitor and community centers (as available)
