Meet Jax, our sweet, lovable 4-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever mix. 💛
He’s the definition of a gentle soul — always ready with a wagging tail, a big smile, and plenty of snuggles for everyone he meets. Whether he’s chasing his favorite toy or curling up beside us on the couch, Jax fills every day with love and joy.

At the end of last week, Jax started limping and struggling to put weight on his back leg. After a vet visit, we learned he had torn his cruciate ligament — an injury similar to an ACL tear in humans. Unfortunately, this kind of injury doesn’t heal on its own and requires surgery to repair.

The surgery and follow-up care are expected to cost around $2,400–$2,700, so we’ve set our fundraising goal at $3,000 to make sure we can cover his surgery, medications, and recovery care.

Jax means the world to us. It’s heartbreaking to see such a happy, playful dog in pain — and all we want is to give him the chance to run, play, and snuggle again without hurting. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward his surgery, medications, and recovery.
