Last December we had the privilege to meet Mayor. He's approximately an 8year old boxer that flew in to Appleton, another rescue, thanks to the amazing work of Hope Highway. Mayor was our go to dog. It was a pleasure to meet him, but the condition of this poor animal was sad. He was severely under weight, his skin was in bad shape and he seemed to not breath very well. He was beaten about the head and has his skull dented and his jaw broken 3 times.

At that time, someone had shown interest in him.

They came and got him that night. I was happy for him. However, they brought him back to us with a severe sinus infection. Jill, from Hope Highway quickly got him in with a vet. With the right medications, he conquered this infection. Next, we took him in to get him neutered and they found he had a tape worm, more medication. He kicked it! Then, got all these bumps all over his body, more medication, kicked that. However, 2 of the bumps didn't heal very well and need to be removed. We would love to see him have the surgery, but, it comes with a hefty price. Paul and I looking for help with Mayor's situation. We love him, our other animals love him and would love to get him well.

We need to raise about 1200 to have his shoes removed and tested

He has fought so hard

8 years of hell and 8 months of love

He deserves more time with this feeling of family and not so much pain
