Hashomer Hatzair has always stood as a beacon for justice and equality, from resisting antisemitism in Europe to supporting refugees in Lesbos. Today, as the Israel-Hamas war impacts communities in Israel and America, we are called once again to lead with courage.

Through our 'Light in the Darkness' campaign, we honor those who embody dugma ishit (leading by example) and empower the next generation to shine their light for a brighter, more just future. Over this year-end campaign, we will celebrate these individuals as modern Shomeric lights. This Hannukah, join us in celebrating hope and action in these challenging times.

This year, Hashomer Hatzair made a powerful impact:

Mosh Kayitz 2024 was the biggest we've had in decades, with over 200 chanichim/ot joining us for a magical summer.
Eshkol Delegation: Hosted 19 kibbutz youth affected by October 7th at Camp Shomria, fostering resilience and solidarity.
Ajyal-Shomria Peace Camp: Brought 13 Arab-Israeli youth to Camp Shomria for a cultural exchange and peace leadership seminar,
Expanded two new kenim in Corning, NY, and Boston, MA, growing our Shomeric community.
Our Scholarship Fund has more than doubled, making Mosh accessible to many more campers.
Exciting new programs like the Hashomer Bayit NYC and Bnei Mitzvah Project connect young Jews with Shomeric values and meaningful Jewish life.
