The impact of your donations so far has been tremendous. As of November, we've distributed $95,473 to families in need through the Family Emergency Assistance Fund. Your support has provided holiday meals, essential items, and assistance for emergency expenses, making a real difference in the lives of those facing the challenges of a child's serious illness. 🙌💙

Adjusted Goal:

With this new match opportunity, our adjusted goal is now $20,000. This represents a doubling of your impact and the ability to extend our reach even further, ensuring that more families can experience the joy and support they need during challenging times. 🌺🌍

You can express your generosity by giving directly and helping unlock a match for $5,000 (🌟💰🔐🤲💙), adopt a child from our Anchor Tree (🎄🏷️🎁), or sign up to volunteer (🤝👥⌛).

By giving directly to our Family Emergency Assistance Fund, you provide immediate relief to families. Your support covers essential needs like groceries, bills, and transportation, offering a lifeline during the holiday season.

Anchor Tree

Our Anchor Tree tradition connects you directly with a child and their family. By adopting a child from the tree, you ensure they experience the joy of the season with specially selected gifts.

How it works:

1. Contact us! Email rhondawhite@childrensharbor.com requesting to adopt a child, and she will send you the child’s age, gender, clothing sizes, and Christmas wish.

2. Go shopping! We suggest including one full outfit and a toy for each child and budgeting between $100-$150 per child.

3. Return the gifts by December 11th, spreading joy to a child in need.

Volunteer

Become a Harbor Helper by volunteering your time and skills. Your compassion can make a significant difference in the lives of families. Whether it's assisting at The Harbor Family Center, Lake Martin, or the Thrift store, your time is a valuable gift.
