Friends of Veritones

Our Story

Founded in 1985 by two first-year students looking to share their love of singing with their very own co-ed a cappella group, the Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones have come a long way—making music with an unwavering commitment to excellence and an unbreakable sense of togetherness for four decades and counting.

To commemorate our ongoing love and support for this group, the Friends of Veritones, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, have been formed. It is our hope that this will offer a lasting home for alumni and friends of the Veritones and help maintain a valuable connection to the group’s origins for current and future members.

For 2025-2026, the Veritones’ 40th anniversary year, the Friends of Veritones have established our first—and rather audacious—goal: to endow a fund that will help financially support the Veritones each and every year, in perpetuity.

A one-time gift will contribute to our goal of raising a $150K endowment fund, which will sustain itself to help fund the Veritones’ musical and educational endeavors, as well as future alumni engagement, for years to come.

Please join our mission in getting us to our target goal. Your gift now will give back for a lifetime, ensuring we get to see the Veritones continue to grow and evolve…and join our ever-growing alumni on stage at Sanders Theatre.
