The We Are ALL Readers Festival is a free, family-friendly literacy-centered event celebrating diverse children’s books taking place on April 11, 2026 that brings together acclaimed authors and illustrators to engage hundreds of children, families, teachers, and librarians through live readings, workshops, book signings, and more.

The festival, in its fourth year, provides vital representation for historically marginalized voices and offers young readers the chance to connect with creators whose stories affirm their identities.

Help us bring together diverse authors and illustrators from Rhode Island and beyond and ensure that local youth, many of whom have limited access to inclusive literature, can engage with stories and role models that reflect the richness of their lives and communities.
