I became a board member of the Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation in 2019, out of concern for girls at risk of FGM in my community in the Washington, D.C., suburbs. The more I learned about the harms of FGM to women and girls, the more passionate I became about fighting this human right violation through education and advocacy. Please join me in fighting FGM.
