This spring marks our largest goal yet - every dollar matters. Your donation allows us to bring commercial-free alternative music to you on 90.5 FM and on streaming services around the goal. It creates a training ground for area high school students to get broadcast experience.

For 40 years now, WBER has been right there with you—and we don’t take that for granted. You’ve let us be part of your days, your nights, your drives, your discoveries… and that means everything to us.

This spring, we keep coming back to a classic idea—like in It’s a Wonderful Life, when George Bailey gets to see what the world would be like if he’d never been born. It makes you realize how much one life can shape everything around it.

So we started wondering… what if WBER had never existed?

What music would you have missed? What artists might’ve never found their way to you? What moments would’ve sounded a little different?

That’s the heart of this year’s Spring Fundraiser. We’re asking you to be part of it—make a donation, and tell us an artist and a song that WBER brought into your life. We’ll play it on the air and celebrate that connection with you.

Our goal this year is $88,000—the biggest we’ve ever set. But year after year, you show up for us—and that’s what keeps this station going, independent and true to what it’s always been.
