RIDE-A-THON DETAILS:
Willis Dady's Run & Ride Festival will include a Kids Ride-A-Thon! The Ride-A-Thon gives your child a fun activity and the opportunity to make a difference. Register them today to become a Changemaker and fundraise for those experiencing homelessness in our community! *Remote Lap completion is available. Reach out to [email protected] to learn more.
The Ride-A-Thon:
On October 8th, bring your kids, their bikes, and their pit crew to encourage them as they ride! We will have parking lots set up with age-appropriate distances that your child will circle around in a set time limit. Volunteers and staff members will help you find the right area for your child's laps and be the timers. There are two lap sizes that you can choose from for your child:
Lap Option 1: Trail Loop, .12 Miles
Lap Option 2: Around the Parking Lot, .03 Miles
Every child doing laps is required to have a parent in attendance, but they are also welcome to bring a pit crew to cheer them on! Kids can start their Ride-A-Thon laps from 10:30-12:30 on the 8th. Help your child fundraise for their laps to receive prizes in their Changemaker box! Read more about that below ⬇
*Remote Lap completion is available. Reach out to [email protected] to learn more.
Become A Changemaker:
After registering your child for Willis Dady's Kids Ride-A-Thon, you'll receive a pledge form, flyers, and a couple of social media posts that you can share with your friends, coworkers, and family by mid-August. Encourage them to support your child's ride by pledging a certain dollar amount per lap, or a straight donation to help your child make a difference for those experiencing homelessness. Check out the reward levels below:
Changemaker boxes will be sent out post-race (allowing delivery time for rewards) by the end of December 2022. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's participation in the Ride-A-Thon, feel free to contact Jason at [email protected]
