For 21 years, the Western Regional Advocacy Project (WRAP) has organized alongside unhoused people and grassroots groups across the Western United States to fight for housing justice.

WRAP was created in March 2005 to expose and eliminate the root causes of civil and human rights abuses experienced by people living in poverty and homelessness.

Our work is grounded in outreach, organizing, education, and movement building led by people directly impacted by housing injustice.

Today, WRAP is a network of grassroots member organizations across the West working together to challenge the criminalization of poverty and build real solutions to homelessness.

In addition to our member network in the West, we work with allied partners across the United States.

While this birthday campaign kicks things off, we’ll be celebrating WRAP’s 21st year all year long — highlighting the organizing, partnerships, and grassroots leadership that make this work possible.
