My Life In A Bag Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth in foster care by restoring dignity during some of their most vulnerable moments. We provide sturdy luggage and essential items so that no child has to carry their belongings in trash bags as they move through the system—replacing uncertainty with hope and stability.

Our mission extends far beyond the bag. Through Beyond the Bag, we serve the whole child by addressing the deeper needs that impact long-term success. We provide access to mental health support to help youth heal from trauma, promote reading literacy to strengthen confidence and opportunity, encourage nutrition and wellness to build lifelong healthy habits, and connect young people with mentors who offer guidance, encouragement, and consistent support.
