My daughter Ericka and I have had many discussions related to mental health. She has been a driving force in emphasizing the significance of mental health, acknowledging the substantial stress that women of color often bear. I share her passion and understand the critical nature of self-care and regular mental health evaluations. To support this passion, in May 2023, Lewis and I became members of the Mental Health America’s 1933 Society. Lewis also acknowledges the gravity of mental health concerns and expressed his desire to be proactive in community engagement through MHA’s initiatives.”
