This October, the Walt Whitman High School Field Hockey team is proud to come together for our annual Community Night in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This year, we are especially excited to support For 3 Sisters, a local grassroots nonprofit dedicated to helping people affected by breast cancer. For 3 Sisters provides critical support to breast cancer fighters and survivors, helping ease the financial and emotional burdens that can accompany a diagnosis while also educating our community about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

Our goal is simple: to use the strength of our Whitman Field Hockey community to make a meaningful difference for people facing breast cancer right here in our community.

Why For 3 Sisters?

A breast cancer diagnosis affects far more than a person's health. Treatment can bring unexpected financial pressures, transportation needs, everyday expenses, and countless other challenges for patients and their families.

For 3 Sisters works to help ease those burdens and improve the quality of life for people affected by breast cancer. Through financial assistance, patient support, education, and community outreach, For 3 Sisters helps ensure that no one has to face breast cancer alone.

About For 3 Sisters

For 3 Sisters is a national grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness and improving the lives of people affected by breast cancer. It was founded by retired firefighter, Marshall Moneymaker after he lost three sisters to breast cancer.

For 3 Sisters provides financial support and alleviates burdens for people affected by breast cancer. We also educate the community about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

We are committed to supporting breast cancer fighters and survivors in any way possible so that no one fights breast cancer alone!
