"Your Child Has Cancer"....it is difficult for many to comprehend even having to hear those words. Childhood cancer poses a threat to every facet of family life. There is a tidal wave of hardship—physical, financial, and emotional struggles— that can last a lifetime. THIS IS THE PATH WALKED by families facing pediatric cancer since the day of a diagnosis.

P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative has become a “go-to” source of assistance in Western New York through our (6) distinct programs supporting these families. We work beside hospital psychosocial partners to ensure every dollar we raise gets channeled where it is most needed. From the first day of diagnosis to recovery – and even in the unthinkable wake of a loss – this organization is honored to walk a mile in the shoes alongside those facing pediatric cancer in Western New York.

By doing so, we ease burdens, bring relief, heal hearts, lift spirits, and allow parents to focus on what matters most: being there for their sick child.

...now, this September, we are asking you to walk with us as we close out Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month at our 1st Annual Hearts of Gold Family Fest.

Join us on September 26th at Buffalo RiverWorks around 9-9:30am, with our walk beginning at 10am! For the first time, our Walk & Roll will kick off our all-day Hearts of Gold Family Fest, which additionally features our Pickleball for P.U.N.T. tournament for all skill levels, a carnival-themed legacy event in memory of pediatric cancer angel, Adrian Gomez, a vendor fair, good food, surprise performances and appearances, basket raffles, and more.

Can't make it to Buffalo RiverWorks on September 26th? Reminder that you can do your walk anywhere, anytime with anyone (tag us too!).

There is NO minimum amount that needs to be raised, though we do ask participants to kindly make a donation in any amount and challenge others to do the same. All proceeds will go to our "Helping Hands" program which will be used over the next year to alleviate the catastrophic financial burdens for WNY families who have a child battling cancer.
