These extraordinary tributes serve not only to honor individuals of outstanding achievement, like the incomparable James Earl Jones, but also to inspire future generations to use their voices as instruments of artistry, truth, and transformation.

Notably, the James Earl Jones Prize includes a larger-than-life bronze bust of Mr. Jones, crafted by acclaimed sculptor Littleton Alston, to be installed in the James Earl Jones Theatre under the stewardship of the Shubert Organization. A series of 12-inch bronze replicas will be casts from this bust to be awarded annually to performers whose body of work reflects the artistic mastery and cultural impact exemplified by Mr. Jones.
