The James Earl Jones Prize represents this mission in a particularly meaningful way. The larger-than-life bronze bust of Mr. Jones, created by acclaimed sculptor Littleton Alston and permanently installed at the James Earl Jones Theatre under the stewardship of the Shubert Organization, preserves the legacy of one of the most influential voices of our time. Annual bronze replicas cast from this original work will recognize performers whose careers reflect the artistic mastery and cultural impact exemplified by Mr. Jones.
