Michael Sudhalter, CHISD Communications Coordinator, approached the Foundation with a request to set up an Annual Named Scholarship fund. In his words, "The Evangeline Paige Sudhalter Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship to honor the memory of our precious daughter who was stillborn in November 2015. We will reward two Cedar Hill ISD seniors who wish to study Medicine or Counseling in college." The Foundation accepted the challenge and set up a restricted fund in 1st quarter of 2021 for this purpose and provided the necessary fundraising and administrative support needed to make this scholarship a reality for our 2021 scholarship awards. Now we are launching the fundraising campaign for the 2022 scholarship awards. Donations received on this form will be solely used to fund this annual named scholarship.

This Scholarship drive took in $650 in the period leading up to scholarship awards for 2021. This allowed the Education Foundation to award two $250 scholarships in 2021. This left a balance of $150 to be available for the 2022 award.
