It is currently 48 degrees and the temperature is dropping. Electricity is limited to a few hours every other night. Children find it difficult to study with no light. Elderly are bedridden or cannot see to go to the outhouse and in desperate need of diapers. Firewood is difficult to source. The few able bodied men in the village are on the front lines. WINTER IS COMING!

For the past three years, Jeremiah's Hope has raised funds to purchase firewood for the elderly and those in need in our community, Kolentsi. This winter, the need is far greater. This winter, there will be need for so much more and we are asking you to give towards our WINTER AID FOR KOLENTSI.

With firewood being difficult to source, we want to have funds ready to purchase it when we can find a truckload. We also have several elderly who are now living on their own, some bedridden and others with limited mobility. As sad as it is, they are in need of adult diapers. Our hearts break hearing of the difficulties faced by so many in our community and once again, Russia is amassing soldiers and weapons just across the Belorussian border, just a short 1 to 1/2 hour drive north of our village.

Many of you gave generously when the war started in 2022. We were good stewards of those funds, shipped aid and met immediate needs, but those funds were used in 2022 and 2023. Will you consider a gift today (this week) towards our goal of $10,000 for a WINTER AID fund for our village?

Funds raised will be used for firewood, adult diapers, medicines, food and other needs that make arise over the cold, harsh winter ahead.
