This June, I’m grabbing a hammer (don’t worry, I’ll try not to break anything) and joining Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley’s 2025 Women Build!
Full disclosure: I’m not exactly what you'd call “handy”—I once used a screwdriver to open a bottle of wine. But I am showing up, tool belt and all, to support an incredible cause. Women Build empowers women to help families create safe, stable homes, and I’m proud to be part of it—even if I’m mostly good at holding the clipboard and passing the snacks.
