HISTORY HIKE - Woods Quarry - NOTE DATE AND TIME CHANGE (due to Rain on 9/22)! Highlight your weekend by taking a fun hike to the impressive Woods Quarry. Follow naturalist Suzanne Michot to one of the historic stone quarries within the City of Boulder Open Space Mountain Parks. Find out about this unique place and the interesting plants and animals of the area. You’ll also learn some of the history and geology of the quarry. The hike is approximately 3 miles round trip with a 700 foot elevation gain. Wear sturdy tennis shoes or boots and bring rain gear and a snack. No pets please.
