Woody has had a tough start in life, but his heart is as big as they come. Almost two years old, Woody spent most of his early life living in a car with a homeless man. Despite his hardships, he has never lost his love for people—because to Woody, people are his world.

This past weekend, something truly magical happened. At our adoption event at Qualusi Vineyards, Woody met Kelly. Kelly has multiple sclerosis (MS), a condition that affects her balance and mobility. She was brought to the event by Alicia Cline from The Duncan School of Canine Excellence, who had met Woody before and knew he was special.

As Kelly walked through the vineyard, Woody instinctively stayed close, watching her every move, adjusting his pace, and gently supporting her. It was as if he knew she needed his help. In that moment, it became clear—Woody had found his true purpose.

Now, we want to make this match official. Bogey’s will cover Woody’s adoption fee and vetting costs, and Alicia has generously donated her time to train him as a service dog. But we need your help!

For Woody to start his training, he needs a custom-fitted mobility harness that costs $1,000. This harness will give Kelly the stability she needs and allow Woody to assist her properly.
