The NEXGEN Dog Walk PAWject is a philanthropy project put on by area high school juniors in our NEXGEN program. Please join our young leaders and help New Washington Middle/High School raise funds to provide their students with a therapy dog. Register now to walk or run in this 5K and make a difference in our local community for just $15 per person. Furry friends are encouraged but not required for registration. In-person registration for last minute participants will also be available the day of.

The Leadership Southern Indiana NEXGEN program is Southern Indiana’s award-winning youth leadership program that was added to our suite of programs in 2014. Open to any high school junior in Clark or Floyd County, whether public, private, or homeschooled, this program provides experiences for young leaders of our community to encourage their future success. Students spend (7) sessions learning about different sectors of the community, and how to lean into their own leadership styles and qualities. Along side this program, participants will also take part in a philanthropic project that will heighten their knowledge of a particular not-for-profit, build their collaboration network, and provide the opportunity to execute a physical/financial benefit to the community.

We offer four different programs, each designed to shape the person to become a more effective leader in their school, workplace, peers, and community. Our alumni range from high school students to elected government officials. Along with our programs, we offer events throughout the year such as workshops, networking events, and our Breakfast Series so members can continue learning and stay involved.
