As a 40-year-old building, the Rec Center requires continual care and modernization. Over the past year, we’ve
made significant improvements, including:
 Installing a new pool window for improved lighting and energy efficiency
 Adding solar panels to reduce utility costs and our environmental footprint
 Enhancing locker room privacy
 Upgrading behind-the-scenes systems — whirlpool, domestic hot water, and HVAC — to improve
reliability and comfort

As we look ahead, we’re focusing on five key funding priorities:
1. Financial Assistance Fund – Keeping programs affordable and inclusive
2. Sailing Program – Expanding youth and community sailing opportunities
3. Fitness Equipment – Updating and maintaining high-quality training tools
4. Pool and Hot Tub Longevity – Ensuring these beloved amenities endure for decades
5. Facility Fund – Addressing ongoing maintenance and capital improvements
