With SNAP benefits temporarily cut and many families in Western North Carolina struggling to afford groceries, Hardcore for Humanity is launching the “No Empty Tables Project.”

Our first community refrigerator will be located in downtown Burnsville, at Mountain Time Mercantile 601 East Main St, Burnsville.

The community refrigerator will provide free access to fresh produce, drinks, and ready-to-eat foods for anyone in need. This fridge will be available 24/7 , stocked by neighbors, for neighbors, because no one should go hungry.

We’re raising funds to help keep our community refrigerator stocked weekly so families in need always have access to fresh food and essentials.

Every dollar makes a difference . Together, we can fill the fridge with food, kindness, and hope for the community.

We are a grassroots nonprofit 501 (c)(3) collective supporting individuals and families facing crisis, displacement, and poverty, especially those still living in the long shadow of disasters like Hurricane Helene.
