At LEAD Futures Foundation, we believe leadership begins long before a title. It begins when a young person feels seen, supported, and confident enough to step into who they are becoming. That belief is at the heart of our Step Into Success initiative.

Through this program, we are raising funds to provide brand new, quality shoes to underrepresented children, foster youth, and youth living in shelters throughout San Diego. Something as simple as a new pair of shoes can be the first moment a child feels valued, and the first nudge toward their potential.

Why Shoes Matter

Shoes are more than footwear.
They represent dignity, confidence, comfort, and belonging. When a child has shoes that fit well and feel good, they show up differently at school, in their community, and within themselves.
